Personnel Concepts Jumps on the White Paper Bandwagon

I’ve always liked the BLR (Business and Legal Reports) site because it features  informative, lengthy pieces that go by the prevailing title of “white papers.” However, when I did an on-site  search of BLR’s white papers the other day, I think the most current one I saw was from the summer of 2008, though I may have missed some in my search.

BLR also doesn’t always broach some of the regulatory topics affecting employers like the ADAAA (Americans With Disabilities Amendments Act, which took effect this Jan. 1) and the FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act, which was restructured this Jan. 16).

That’s why I was happy to see that Personnel Concepts has added its own white paper section, and the section already contains lengthy, analytical pieces on both of those laws, as well as good stuff on other issues affecting employers. And if you wanted the lowdown on Lilly Ledbetter, that’s there too.

If you’re a labor law junkie like me, these kinds of resources are nice to have available.

    Awesome information. I think white papers are some of the most under used customer satisfaction tools a company can used. They have some great info on there. If you want to be an authority you have to be able to speak like one. It would of been nice if Personnel Concepts supplied this information earlier. Better late than never.

    Knowledge is power. I love the articles…the more the merrier. I have never seen this company before. Great professional looking company. Looks like they got a lot for the small to medium size businesses. Price is also reasonable.

    Ah so Personnel Concepts is on the SEO band wagon. Content is king. They seriously need the boost in the appropriate areas. They have so much knowledge and the wrong exposure in the labor law poster arena. Of course they don’t just sell labor law posters but OSHA safety posters, programs and kits. Some of their kits make running you business so easy. I would keep an eye for this company as a new up and comer.

    Good move. Need all the information we can get. It’s horrible how the government bails out corporate america but bleeds us small people to death. Then they turn around and expect you to do all the work by staying compliant. They make it so confusing. It’s nice to see a blog with this kind of information on it and it’s nice to know their are companies out there like Personnel Concepts to make my job easier.

    I think if you want to be an authority in your field you need to be constantly on it with your information. The more information you provide on a regular basis the better and the quicker you become a resource. I’ve heard some stories of the research and development team over there and they have a lot of natural knowledge about labor laws and OSHA regulations. I think it’s great they are willing to share and make that knowledge common knowledge.

    I think Personnel Concepts will have to find a better way of getting this information out there other than their site. It’s definitely a little nugget of gold for business owners and you would be stupid if you didn’t read them.

    Cool blog…just found you and you’ve got some great stuff here. I’ve never heard of Personnel Concepts but it looks like they have some quality products. The white paper articles are pretty good also. They claim they have been in the business of compliance for the last 20 years. Is that so…why have I not heard of them before this.

    I know they know more than just labor law posters so its about time Personnel Concepts lets some of the information out. Every time I get off the phone with them I feel a lot more comfortable about the status of my business. Having white papers feels like I have a resource so I can stay proactive with my businesses needs.

    Yeah, I just read a very scary Personnel Concepts white paper about labor law changes expected under Obama. Time to move to Costa Rica.

    Glad I found this blog. Lots of great information. Never heard of Personnel Concepts but these white papers are a great source. Do you know if they are creating any other resources on their site. I see they push a lot of the labor law poster products. I have to renew mine soon…do you recommend or should any company be suitable. Thanks.

    Great move. It’s actions like this by Personnel Concepts that makes them a leader and resource in the industry of labor law and osha compliance. I would definately recommend any business owner to read what is posted.

    Love the blog. Love the white papers. It’s nice to have something like this as a resource finally. I think most people don’t have the slightest clue about the laws and what they have to do…that include me to. This is a very calming and refreshing piece of information.

    I notice Personnel Concepts claims pioneers in labor law posters but are they know for anything else. A good HR source is always needed

    The white papers are awesome. It’s about time Personnel Concepts came out with these. Why anyone would want to give a company a bad rapt when they know so much. Thanks blogger for the update…wouldn’t of know if they did put it up. It needs to be made more clear. It sounds like you know some people over there…tell them great job and pass the suggestions on for improvement.

    Love the article and the blog. I also love the white papers Personnel Concepts has. A definite must for any small business owner to read. It’d be nice if there were an association that promoted this kind of information. Nowadays it seems as if everyone is trying to capitalize off this business instead of providing knowledge for free.
